I wanted to capture a scene from all so familiar moment within our routine. Dancing. As I get older, my solo dance sessions become very sacred to me. I feel a strong sense of freedom and presence. Sometimes I’m a breakdancer from a Cassie video from 2006, or the ballerina I once was as a kid, or attempting the intricate Nigerian legwork.
The goal of this series is to encourage adults to be extra XTRA with their bodies by feeding it with movements that fuel their soul.
